The Centennial Citizen: Members of the public looking to peek at blueprints, permits, or site plans for developments in Centennial will now have to jump through an extra hoop.
The City of Centennial quietly stripped these documents from its Active Development Dashboard, an online tool that let anyone browse detailed plans for projects across the city. Now, accessing that information requires filing a formal open records request, according to Allison Wittern, Centennial’s communications director.
The change, Wittern says, comes down to protecting sensitive details that were sitting in plain sight online.
