Questions linger after Loveland City Council dispute

Loveland Reporter-Herald: At the conclusion of the Loveland City Council’s Tuesday meeting, it was unclear whether all nine members would be subject to a special counsel investigation over potential city charter violations or whether just four of them would be.

Two days later, the picture isn’t much clearer, but at least one of the investigations is moving forward.

At a special meeting next week, the Loveland City Council will review findings from Christopher Gregory, the attorney appointed to look into allegations that Dana Foley, Pat McFall, Steve Olson, Andrea Samson and three former councilors violated Colorado open meeting law and, thus, the city charter during deliberations over the Centerra South urban renewal plan.
