9NEWS: An investigation is underway after a shooting in Broomfield last month left one man dead.
On June 26, police were called out to a home along Flint Way, near West 120th Avenue and State Highway 128, on reports of a man with a knife. Soon after arrival, that man was shot and killed by a Broomfield police officer.
Neighbors Scott and Kate Tackett identified the victim as Morris Selden. Scott and Kate said they knew Morris dealt with mental health challenges. They said he was beloved in the neighborhood, thoughtful and caring.
Now, they want answers from police about why he was shot.
