The Denver Post: A judge in Boulder County juvenile court may kick the public out of a preliminary hearing for former Fairview High School quarterback Aidan Atkinson, who is charged with sexually assaulting another student in 2018.

Judge Ingrid Bakke said during a hearing Monday that she was inclined to close the courtroom to prevent the media and public from observing a March 31 preliminary hearing for Atkinson. A preliminary hearing typically is a public proceeding, and the scope of the allegations against the former quarterback would be revealed in greater detail than ever before.
