Cañon City Daily Record: After an executive session Tuesday night, the Florence City Council unanimously voted to terminate City Manager Mike Patterson, but officials are being tight-lipped about their action.

The Florence Citizen reported the vote on its Facebook page late Tuesday evening.

After receiving a tip about the pending vote and the council meeting in executive session Friday night, the Daily Record emailed Florence City Clerk Jessica Hill on Monday.

“I do not know anything regarding that matter,” she stated in an email.
