Colorado Hometown Weekly: Boulder parents who are suing over the Boulder Valley School District’s school closure plan petitioned the Colorado Supreme Court to review the Boulder County District Court’s recent ruling that rejected their temporary injunction request.
The Colorado Supreme Court denied that petition Wednesday, a day after it was filed.
The Boulder Valley School District also filed a motion to dismiss the original lawsuit on Oct. 28, the same day the judge issued the ruling against the temporary injunction. The parents plan to oppose the motion to dismiss and have until Nov. 18 to file a response, according to the Better Plan BVSD website.
The ruling against the injunction allows the school closure plan to proceed while the case is argued in court.
