Aurora police officer fired for ‘severe misconduct’ — but department won’t say what he did

The Denver Post: The Aurora Police Department on Monday fired one of its officers for “severe misconduct,” but agency leaders won’t say what the officer did.

The department fired Officer Levi Huffine in connection with an incident that happened in August, police spokesman Matthew Longshore said. Longshore declined to state what day the incident happened or where it happened.

Huffine joined the department in 2012 and had no significant prior disciplinary records, Longshore said.
