9NEWS: Every other month, dozens of mayors from across the Denver metro area gather around a U-shaped table inside an unassuming office building.
The meeting isn’t open to the public. Most residents don’t even know it exists.
“I think we should change the name from Metro Mayors Caucus to the super-secret group of mayors,” joked Littleton Mayor Kyle Schlachter. “That might get some more people poking their ears up.”
Since 1993, the Metro Mayors Caucus has quietly brought together mayors from communities across the region, giving them a place to discuss common challenges, exchange ideas and learn from one another.
