Loveland City Council will stop texting during meetings

Loveland Reporter-Herald: Members of the Loveland City Council voted Tuesday night to stop the practice of texting during meetings.

Councilor John Fogle brought the issue up near the end of the meeting, explaining “… after the fertilizer show from the court the other day, we need to stop texting at this dais. We need to stop it completely, not a little bit, not a medium bit, just don’t do it.”

He was referring to a March 29 hearing where an 8th Judicial District Court judge ruled that the city of Loveland did not act in good faith in filing a petition in early March regarding Mayor Jacki Marsh’s CORA request into messages between Mayor Pro Tem Don Overcash and a city employee.
