From MuckRock.org: Earlier this year, Colorado’s Department of Public Health and Environment launched its $5.7 million “Good to Know” campaign, a series of PSAs regarding recreational marijuana. The campaign drew national attention for its lighthearted, somewhat twee, tone, which was in marked contrast to the more alarmist message of its predecessors.
Shortly thereafter, MuckRock’s Beryl Lipton requested all contracts/available drafts/talking points regarding the campaign. Just this morning, we heard back; they estimated it would take 21 hours to retrieve and review the documents, for which they’d charge $20 an hour – a grand total of $420.
