The Denver Post: Despite the best efforts of the University of Colorado’s board of regents to keep their search process secretive, we now know who the top applicants were for the job of president.

It is no surprise that that list includes many political, business and university leaders from around the country. The list included both Republicans and Democrats, which given the unfortunate partisan nature of the Board of Regents, matters.
