Greeley Tribune: This week was as bad as it’s been when it comes to COVID-19, and there’s no indication it’s getting better any time soon.

Positive cases, positivity rates, hospitalizations and, yes, deaths, are all up across the county, state and nation. This new wave, whichever number it is, is not one to be trifled with, and that’s simply a fact. The numbers are clear. Despite our exhaustion and our best hopes, the virus is not going away yet, and it’s going to impact more and more families and individuals across our community before it gets better.

And yet here we are, still asking for more transparency by the public health offices that have monitored the pandemic at a state and county level. It’s difficult to rationalize.
