Brush city attorney encourages fewer executive sessions

The Fort Morgan Times: When Brush City Attorney Dan Krob was asked about whether appointing a new member of City Council should be discussed in executive session, he sided for the most possible open government.

Last week, he shared more on his perspective toward open government and Robert’s Rules of Order during a training workshop attended by not just staff and members of City Council, but also by several community members.

“Your code requires you follow Robert’s Rules of Order,” Krob said. “There are times it doesn’t lend itself to city government.”
