House passes measure to increase lobbyist transparency

From 9NEWS (Denver):  Wednesday morning, the Colorado House unanimously passed SB 217, which is aimed at increasing lobbyist transparency.

It is a bill designed to get rid of what supporters call “loopholes” in the current laws for lobbyists.

For instance, some lobbyists simply list the lobbying firm they work for on their disclosure forms instead of the clients that hired the firms.
