Colorado Politics: On Nov. 1, the governor is required to submit a budget proposal for the upcoming fiscal year to the Joint Budget Committee.
Gov. Jared Polis was scheduled to talk to the media at 12:30 p.m. Friday at the Governor’s Mansion to discuss his budget proposal.
But before addressing the media, Polis had planned to meet with the Joint Budget Committee and House and Senate leadership early Friday morning.
None of the meetings with lawmakers were publicly announced, as is required by the state’s open meetings law.
