Colorado inspection reports for adventure attractions shed no light on whether problems were found

9NEWS: The state agency that regulates ziplines and other adventure attractions does not maintain records of problems found during annual inspections, 9NEWS Investigates has learned.

Five years of inspection reports for AVA Rafting and Zipline  – where a guide died Saturday in a fall – shed no light on whether any problems were uncovered or, if they were, how they were addressed.

Instead, each contains a simple statement signed by a third-party inspector that “any deficiencies identified or noted at the time of inspection have been corrected.”
