Expected presenters include 9NEWS investigative reporter Kevin Vaughan, USA Today investigative reporter Nick Penzenstadler, Denver Public Safety Records Coordinator Mary Dulacki, state courts PIO Rob McCallum, municipal attorney Kendra Carberry and Chalkbeat Managing Editor Eric Gorski.
Noon – Luncheon featuring speaker Eli Stokols, MSNBC political analyst. The Sue O’Brien Award for Public Service will be presented to state Sen. John Kefalas for his work on open records legislation. Long-time CFOIC board member Ruth Anna will receive the inaugural Ruth Anna Citizen Champion Award.
1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. – A reverse press conference. Question the reporters.
